Policies

Our work as a charity is underpinned by key policies which are reviewed and updated regularly. Our policies clarify how we meet the needs of the icandance community and how we meet our legal responsibilities to our dancers, funders and the Charity Commission.

Equality and Diversity Policy

icandance welcomes and treats with respect and equality all children, young people, their parents and carers, staff and volunteers. This is regardless of disability, race, colour, religion, gender, nationality, ethnic origin, age, sexual orientation, marital or employment status.

Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Young People Policy

icandance believes in a value-based approach to working with vulnerable children/young people and their families. Our core values are to inspire, nurture, include all, believe in making it possible, be creative, educate and celebrate when working with those with disabilities.

Complaints Policy

icandance welcomes feedback from children, young people, parents and carers and team members. We strive to provide high quality opportunities which meet the needs of the participants, their families, and team members. In order to ensure our services remain at a high and improving standard, we have a procedure through which you can let us know, for any reason, if you are not satisfied with your dealings with the charity.
