Keep Dancing!

On Sunday 28 June, headteachers from schools across London took part in Strictly Heads at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster – a Strictly Come Dancing inspired fundraising event in aid of icandance. The evening showcased the hard work of the headteachers, who have been training all year, and was hosted by TV presenter Mylene Klass, with celebrity judges TV star Richard Wilson, actress Claire Sweeney, ex-Royal Ballet dancer Baroness Deborah Bull and West End star Jos Vantyler. Our own iam Dance Company gave a guest performance and loved being part of the star-studded event and watching the brilliant dances. Strictly Heads marked the culmination of a year of fundraising by the schools involved which has raised over £12,000 for icandance so far! We’re incredibly grateful to all the staff, students and school communities for all their hard work.
