icandance at Sadler’s Wells!

26 February 2024

“icandance stunned us with their performance of Reunion, which shared an incredible amount of trust and joy between the dancers that was palpable to the audience and injected power into each moment.” – Stage to Page UK

It was a special and unforgettable evening for icandance as our dancer Denecia and English National Ballet artist Alice Bellini shone on the stage at Sadler’s Wells for ‘Empower in Motion’ last week! The show brought together incredible acts highlighting ballet and inclusion. We are beyond excited to have performed alongside Joseph Powell-Main, Stop Gap Dance, Parable Dance, the National Youth Ballet of Great Britain, and more!

What’s more, we were so proud to reveal Denecia’s adaptive dance costume created by award-winning disabled designer Victoria Jenkins. The design process including co-creating an adaptive dress that was both stunning and inclusive!

A very special thank you to Children Today Charity for inviting us to perform, Ross Freddie Ray and Henry Dowden.
